Problem:
A major building manufacturer in France was running conveyors in a production facility and was constantly having to call an outside firm in to repair the belts. Management was not happy with the lost production time due to the wait for another crew and were not happy with the costs associated with the repairs.
Solution:
The maintenance department began looking for a quick and easy-to-use tool that could quickly repair the broken conveyor belts on-site. After seeing the Novitool® Aero® Splice Press in action during a demonstration, the crew knew it was the answer. The portability, easy setup, and short splice times meant that their crew could use it and that belts would be up and running quickly.
Result:
The maintenance crew was impressed by the intuitive, easy to navigate HMI controls and the ability of the Aero Press to store more than 1,000 recipes for consistent, quality splicing. The manufacturer immediately ordered several presses for its production center and is pleased with the results.
